This campground features a large grassy meadow with mostly lodgepole pine trees providing shade. It is right on the river, but close to Crane Prairie Reservoir.
10 MPH speed limit is enforced for boating on Crane Prairie.

The campground is situated where Snow Creek and the Deschutes River flow into the Crane Prairie Reservoir. This area offers outstanding fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities.
