Overview

About this park

The AmberGlen neighborhood grew up in the 1980s around the US 26 corridor as Washington County's tech economy accelerated — its name a marketing coinage for the mixed-use district of office parks, hotels, and apartment complexes that clustered around the Intel-anchored growth west of Portland.

The park, 14 acres tucked into the density of Tanasbourne, is an unlikely presence for a suburban business district: paved loop paths circle landscaped ponds with fountains, and at its center stands Elemental Sequence, a public art installation by sculptor Dann Nardi drawing from the shapes of the surrounding hills, waterways, and tree canopy.

It functions as the neighborhood's green living room, a counterpoint to the commercial fabric on every side.
