Wortman Park covers 21. 43 acres, with an east entry at 2051 NE Lafayette Avenue and a west entry at 250 NE McDaniel Lane.
The Wortman family helped buy the first land, and the neighboring Koch family donated more acres in 1960.

Mature firs and oaks shade 2 miles of accessible hard paths, a disc golf course, a picnic shelter and playground in west Wortman, and three picnic patios plus a playground beside a softball field in east Wortman.
Restrooms, trails, playgrounds, and the cook shelter were renovated in 2005. East Wortman's Patio C has electricity.
