The property is generously treed for shade in summer and has a variety of amenities including playground structures for two age groups, reservable picnic areas and a covered pavilion with kitchen, BBQ grills, and more.

When holding events with anticipated attendance of fewer than 50 participants and on public property, a Facility Use Permit is required to coordinate the event with City Staff, and must be received at lease 45 days prior to the event.

The large covered pavilion in Coolidge McClaine Park holds approximately 20 picnic tables and several serving tables and is available for large or small gatherings.
