Overview
About this park
The Jason Lee Mission House archaeological site is the original location of the mission house built in 1840–41, investigated in May 2020.
The house, the oldest standing frame structure in the Pacific Northwest, was moved to the Willamette Heritage Center at 1313 Mill Street SE in 1965.
The mission site was chosen for its proximity to the Santiam Kalapuya village of Chemeketa.
